Birthed from an aviation background RUAS are the longest standing UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) accredited National Qualified Entity (NQE) and are one of the UK’s leading drone training providers, successfully training over 3,500 drone pilots. Our online and classroom-based training has been developed by our hugely experienced team and are led by expert instructors, to give you the knowledge you need to achieve your Permissions for Commercial Operations (PfCO).

We have a team of highly skilled drone pilots and drones that are equipped with the latest technology, including electro-optical and thermal capabilities, to give RUAS the ability to provide a range of commercial operations to meet your varied requirements across a range of industries. We have considerable experience flying in the Rail, Construction, Creative Media, Surveying, Conservation, Energy, Emergency Services and Infrastructure industries and our extended permissions allow us to operate in urban environments, closer to vehicles, buildings and people – a privilege given only to a limited number of experienced operators.

RUAS are also well versed in drone detection technology and solutions to detect, identify and track drone use to mitigate against threats, whether that be flying contraband into prisons, illicit substances into events and concerts, personal privacy incursions, digital interception for industrial espionage, or the potential for a catastrophic attack using weaponised aircraft (are some common examples). By recruiting on our military background and experience with drones RUAS have the technology, expertise and experience to consult on best mitigation to provide the necessary assurances to operational procedures and security measures.
